The term of current accreditation expired on December 31, but announced this only on January 19, when it became finally clear: the Rosobrnadzor Commission did not satisfy the documents submitted for its extension. The order of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, by the way, obliges students to notify students within five working days.
Boris Petrov, the vice -rector for educational work, announced that the vice -rector for academic work has nowhere to study. According to one of the “recruits”, who was present at the meeting, the vice -rector did not hide: the reason is that the university was poorly prepared for the passage of the accreditation procedure. At the same time, he referred to the human factor.
However, in the lips of the heads of MSTU, such links are not very convincing: less than a year ago, in a similar situation, the rector was also justified in front of 1,600 students. Then, with the wording “For the non -compliance of the content and quality of students' training”, Rosobrnadzor deprived the university of accreditation in 13 most profitable areas with a large number of paid places.
This time, we are not talking about payroll students, banally thrown by the university, but about young scientists. Twenty -five of them have already tried to hand the summons to the army.
- On January 20, we were invited to the roster meeting room to solve the so -called problem with the military registration and enlistment office. This issue was affected by 25 people, some of whom were supposed to defend the dissertation this spring. In the rector, we were immediately confronted with the fact that the university has 17 summons, which we must sign and come to them at the military registration and enlistment office. To the questions of how we continue to study and classes science answered that we now have only one path and the military registration and enlistment office is already waiting for us, ”says Alexei. The names of our interlocutors have been changed at their request - the guys are afraid that they can, if they cause the discontent of the rector, are the first to “get into operation”.
In consolation, the vice -rector said: between the university and the military registration and enlistment office there is a certain unspoken agreement under which the military registration and enlistment office will enter the position and in the spring will put graduate students at the end of the list of conscripts. If the call plan is fulfilled quickly, the queue may not reach them. And this is a chance to calmly wait for the possible accreditation of technical specialties.
However, responding to a “New” request, the head of the university’s press service, Natalya Linkevich, did not mention any graduate students from service in the army, recalling that only state -cinestization gives this. And the obligation of MSTU to transfer graduate students to other universities - to those who have accreditation.
The University itself, according to Natalia, plans to submit documents to the supervisory authority in February. The decision will be made up to 105 days. And on April 1, the spring call will begin.
-On our questions, how legitimate the agreements with the military registration and enlistment office are and whether they were fastened with some papers, did not answer. Moreover, it was unobtrusive that evasion of military service entails criminal prosecution, ”continues Alexei.
“There are two years left, I think to translate, there is no other way out,” adds his comrade in misfortune Andrei. In order to transfer, he must look for a suitable university in another region: the nearest university in the Federal Air Transport Agency, where scientific work is underway in his specialty - the technology of fish products - is located in Kaliningrad.
The humanities were relatively lucky: they are promised to automatically transfer to the neighboring Murmansk University - Arctic (formerly pedagogical institute). It is unclear, however, whether universities will agree among themselves, so that the guys retain their scientific leaders ...
As for the MGTU, then if the techies promise to open the doors over time, then humanitarian specialties closed forever. As Vice -Rector Boris Petrov said in an official statement for the press, the documents will be submitted in only 9 areas: technical and natural science. “Humanitarian and economic areas will not be brought out for accreditation, since they do not correspond to the profile of the educational activity of the technical university,” Petrov said.
