Seven administrative cases were opened against the Open Russia activist for propaganda.

On January 26, the police of the Republic of Chuvashia opened administrative cases against a member of the regional council of Open Russia, Anton Kravchenko, for publicly displaying Nazi paraphernalia (Article 20.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) for a post with a video “Orthodoxy in a devilish way.” The entry was posted on VKontakte on December 23, 2013. This was reported on the Open Russia website.

On January 27, it became known that a total of seven administrative protocols had been filed for the public display of Nazi paraphernalia. All protocols relate to the placement of videos. According to the organization's lawyer on Facebook, four cases have been rescheduled to February 1 and three more cases to February 2.

Glukhov notes that the case was initiated with the assistance of the regional branch of the FSB. The security forces considered unacceptable the presence on the video of footage from the film "Ordinary Fascism" by Mikhail Romm.

By having a copy of the film Ordinary Fascism, the prosecution substantiated the connection of political prisoner director Oleg Sentsov with right-wing radicals. Film critic Anton Dolin had to be summoned to court as a witness, who explained to the court that this film is a film classic, and its storage and viewing in no way indicate the sympathy of the owner of the copy for Nazism.
