
US President Donald Trump signed a decree on the "extremal selection" of migrants entering the country, CNN reports .
The decree is needed in order to keep radical Islamic terrorists outside the United States, Trump said.
“We don't need them here. We must be sure that we do not let the threats with which our soldiers are fighting abroad, ”he said.
According to Reuters , the text of the Decree does not say about the creation of safe zones in Syria, but there is an order to prohibit the reception of Syrian refugees, as well as to suspend the reception of other refugees for 120 days.
According to Washington Post, the document also prescribes the suspension of the issuance of visas to citizens of 7 countries, where the main religion is Islam.
Earlier on January 28, Trump on the air of CBN stated that Christians pursued in Syria will receive a priority right to refugee status in the United States.
On January 26, the New York Times has published a document that refers to Trump's creation in Syria of safe refugees, where they “can expect a final solution like repatriation or potential resettlement in a third country”. Later, the US president confirmed his intention.
