
France and Germany expressed a single opinion regarding the prospects for the abolition of anti -Russian sanctions. The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Germany and France Zigmar Gabriel and Jean-Marc Airo on Saturday after negotiations in Paris told reporters that the abolition of sanctions must be fulfilled by the Minsk agreements on resolving the conflict in eastern Ukraine.
Gabriel announced the consent with Airo about the need for a strong unity between France and Germany in resolving foreign policy issues. The US Foreign Minister announced that Berlin and Paris will create a bilateral working group to solve problems related to Russia and Ukraine.
Jean-Mark Airo noted that the visit of Sigmar Gabriel to Paris took place less than a day after the appointment of a new head of the German Foreign Ministry.
