Three militants killed in Khasavyurt

In the city of Khasavyurt in Dagestan, three militants were killed during a special operation, Interfax reports, citing a source in regional law enforcement agencies.

“The operation has not been completed yet. The house where the militants were hiding almost burned down, ”said the source of the agency.

The militants were blocked in a private house in Khasavyurt on the morning of January 29. Earlier it was reported that the regime of counter-terrorist operation was introduced in the city.

An Interfax source said that negotiations were underway with the militants blocked in the house; later it was reported that the security forces stormed the house.

The sources did not specify what the killed militants were suspected of.
