Russian football teams are suspected of participating in a series of contractual matches in Turkey

Several Russian clubs at once conduct training camps in Turkey and in Cyprus - Amkar, Ufa, Wings of the Soviets and Urals. In January, they played control comradely matches - with teams from Romania. And all these matches are the influential non -profit organization Federbet, following the contractual games, announced “suspicious”. The Romanian newspaper Sporturilor investigated this story and found out that the matches were served by a team of arbitrators who really wanted to hide that they were from Romania. There are two main features of the contract match: the strange behavior of bookmakers and the strange course of the game. If suddenly during the match the rates of bets on an unlikely event (for example, a large number of goals) drops sharply, this may arouse suspicion. If at the same time, the defenders begin to look back in front of the rivals, letting go of the goal for a goal, and the judge appoints an unobvious penalties, there is an even more serious reason for doubts about the honesty of the game.

The matches of Russian and Romanian teams were very strange. In January, four friendly meetings were held between Russian and Romanian teams. On January 17, the Clizh of the CHFR played with Ufa (0: 2). The organization for monitoring the contract matches of Federbet wrote about this match: "Judging by the changes in the coefficients, [someone] needed a goal in the first half and more than 1.5 goals per game." So it happened. The judge added seven additional minutes to the first half. This is a very rare case, but here he caused special bewilderment - there were no delays in the game. In the third added minute, the referee appointed a penalty against Ufa, but no one understood for what violation. The CHFR player could not score, but the judge immediately ordered to kill the eleven -meter: he indicated that the goalkeeper left the gate too early.

On January 20, the Samara “Wings of the Soviets” tied (2: 2) with the Panduri club. The judge appointed two very strange penalties - first in the gate of the Romanians, then vice versa. After 35 minutes of the game, the score was zero, but, as Federbet noted, someone was convinced that more than 3.5 goals would be scorched in the match-a very unlikely rate was taken with a very low coefficient of 1.4.

Two days later, Romania Champion "Astra" won with the Urals with a score of 4: 2. Federbet noted that, judging by the dynamics of bets, such an account was expected. At the same time, no one had any special complaints about refereeing.

On January 25, in Turkey, the Botoshani team won the Perm Amkar with a score of 3: 0. The first two goals were scored from the penalty. As in the match with the Ufa, for the first time they added more than five minutes; The second penalty was assigned precisely in the added time. And again, the Romanian player could not score the first time, and the judge allowed him to make a second attempt.

Apparently, Russian clubs were involved in the scam. The Romanian newspaper Sporturilor investigated the strange circumstances of the match. They found out that the matches of Amkara and Ufa were judged by the same brigade under the leadership of the Romanian arbitrator Dana Peter. But for some reason, the arbitrators themselves and representatives of the Romanian clubs tried to hide it.

After the match with the Ufa, the CHFR leadership assured that he did not know where the judge came from. “I am sure that the judges were from Lithuania. That is, they were Bulgarians. They did not fill in the papers before the match, so there are no names in the documents. I did not hear them in Romanian, ”the club President Julius Mureshan told reporters. He later called back to reporters and said that the judges were Slovenians. The organizer of the match - the Romanian football agent Antonius Antoniu - said he considered judges Cypriots.

Journalists also called the referee by Dan Peter: he assured that he was in Romania. However, when he was sent photographs where a very similar person judges a match in Turkey, Peter stopped responding to the correspondent and blocked his number. At the same time, the head of Peter for the Judicial Association of Romania denied that the judge is in the country. The organization said that they would conduct an investigation of cases described by journalists.

It is not clear whether Russian clubs were interested in the results of the match. Perhaps they simply became victims of fraud. But the reputation does not work in favor of the Russians: in recent years, all the mentioned teams suspected of participating in contractual matches.
