The Danish company Lego, producing children's designers, launched a special social network for children, with which young LEGO lovers can communicate and exchange photos of their creations.
According to The Verge , there are many thematic sites on the LEGO designer on the network, but many of them are not too suitable for children. That is why the company decided to create a LEGO Life network.
The service available on Android and iOS in the USA, Canada and some European countries is essentially an Instagram theme analogue intended for users under 13 years of age. This application allows you to upload photographs collected from the details of the LEGO structures, subscribe to other users and comment on their publications.
In addition, the application has a function that offers children to build a particular object, and accounts belonging to various game characters who will comment on the creations of young users on their own behalf.
At the same time, the developers of the Lego Life social network pay great attention to children's safety. In particular, the accounts are protected from the possibility of publishing personal data: the name of the account is a set of words, only the LEGO figure can be selected as an avatar, and all published images and comments are pre -disposal by the company's employees.
Lego plans to make a new social network a kind of hub, the account of which can be used to access the existing online services and LEGO games.
