Former US President Barack Obama supported the people who organize rallies, protesting against the decree adopted by his successor Donald Trump. This is stated in a statement published on Twitter by representative of Obama Kevin Lewis. It is noted that this is the first statement of Obama since his departure from the post of head of state.

As the departed President of the United States emphasized, citizens exercise the law guaranteed by law. "Citizens who use their constitutional right to gather, organize and express their points of view to their chosen officials - this is exactly what we expect to see when American values ​​are at risk," Obama said in a statement.
