
The threats that are most concerned about the leaders of Russian companies, include the volatility of the exchange rate, excessive regulation and geopolitical instability. This is evidenced by the results of a survey of representatives of Russian business conducted by the PWC International Consulting Company.
The instability of the foreign exchange rate is concerned about 82% of Russian CEO, 80% of business representatives surveyed in the world are concerned with an unstable political situation in the world, the same number of respondents is concerned about the problem of excessive regulation.
PWC analysts note that the number of entrepreneurs, concerned about the problem of excessive business regulation, is approximately the same in Russia as in the EU and the world as a whole. At the same time, business representatives in the USA and China concern this problem more: 84% and 85% of respondents, respectively.
Russian and Chinese entrepreneurs are equally concerned about the threat of social instability. According to the survey, this problem worries 70% of respondents in Russia and China.
More than half (52%) of representatives of Russian business among the main threats called international terrorism. In the USA, 76% of businessmen are concerned about the problem, in China - only 36%.
One of the key problems for Russian entrepreneurs is a lack of professionals: it is concerned about 72% of the survey participants. Moreover, a year earlier, their number was 79%. More than a third (36%) representatives of Russian CEO said they were not going to reduce the number of employees in 2017, and perhaps even increase it.
