The court forbade Navalny to leave Kirov

The court took from Alexei Navalny and Pyotr Officers a subscription about a non -departure from Kirov, where the process in the Kirovles case is taking place. This was reported by the correspondent of "Medusa".

Both of the defendants are forbidden to leave Kirov until February 10.

Navalny said during the court that he would not give a recognizance not to leave. He added that on February 4 he was going to go to St. Petersburg to open the election headquarters. Navalny intends to run for president of Russia.

The question of the measure of suppression of Navalny and the officer was raised by judge Alexei Vtyurin. He referred to the fact that the accused did not appear at two meetings. The position of the judge was supported by the state prosecution.

The lawyer Svetlana Davydova, who defends Officer, noted in court that the subscription about the wizard implies stay at the place of residence. Both accused live in Moscow.

• Judge Vthurin previously ordered to force Navalny and Officer to a meeting on February 1. On January 31, the bailiffs came to the Corruption Fund (FBK) in Moscow - they took Navalny from the office, taken to the Moscow Department of Bailiffs and then escorted to the airport, from where the accused flew to Kirov. At the same time, Navalny was going to go to the meeting on his own, tickets were bought from him in advance.
• The Kirov Court is repeatedly considered by the Kirovles case, within the framework of which Navalny and Officer is accused of embezzlement of enterprise products. According to the results of the first process, the accused received conditional terms. The case was sent for a review after the ECHR came to the conclusion that Navalny and Officer was brought to criminal liability for actions indistinguishable from entrepreneurial activity.
