The Ministry of Internal Affairs is checking reports about a teenager who “worked” for a year in the Moscow police

The Ministry of Internal Affairs is conducting an investigation after reports of a 17-year-old teenager who fraudulently worked for the Moscow police for a year. This was reported by RIA Novosti with reference to the press service of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for Moscow.

Earlier on Thursday, 17-year-old Ivan G. “worked” for the police for about a year and a half, reported Life . According to the publication, Ivan communicated with the police for more than a year, posing as an investigator of the Ministry of Internal Affairs department for the Northern Izmailovo district. The deception was discovered after a special operation in a Moscow brothel, where the teenager and other security officials were detained “for covering up a brothel not on their territory.”

As Life reported, Ivan went to the special operation with a pistol, having drunk heavily beforehand, and behaved aggressively with sex workers. As a result, the detainees were taken to the department, where representatives of the Internal Security Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs later arrived. During the interrogation, it turned out that Ivan did not have a police officer’s identification.

After the deception was revealed, Ivan apologized to his “colleagues.” He was sentenced to five days of administrative arrest for violating the article on illegal wearing of uniforms with the symbols of law enforcement agencies (Article 17.12 of the Administrative Code). Ivan also paid an administrative fine, the amount of which was not specified, and submitted the form.

One of Ivan’s “colleagues” told Life that the teenager “was competent in all matters related to the service and repeatedly gave practical advice.” According to him, none of the police officers who were friends with the teenager until August 2015 suspected that he was a minor and did not work in law enforcement. The policeman noted that the teenager always carried with him a weapon similar to a Makarov pistol, which he passed off as his service weapon: it turned out to be an air pistol with an extended barrel.
