The Leninsky District Court of Kirov refused the defense to the call and interrogation of all witnesses. Only Navalny themselves and officers themselves were interrogated, tiredly and without enthusiasm, who spoke that they had not committed any crime. The 12th day of the re-consideration of the Kirovles case began with petitions. The defense of Alexei Navalny and Pyotr Officerov planned to submit them the day before, but judge Alexei Vtyurin confused their plans - spent all evening on a change in the preventive measure to the defendants. Now they are forbidden to leave Kirov (but Navalny is not going to execute this decision).

Applications were technical in nature - almost everything except one. Lawyers demanded to introduce payment documents between the Vyatka Forest Company (VLK) Peter Officer and Kirovles. They wanted to prove that that the VLK bought a forest at market prices, was calculated on time and has no debts to Kirovles.

“This is the key moment of the trial,” Alexei Navalny immediately caught fire. He asked the court to compare the price at which the forest bought officers from the one by which the rest of the Kirovles did this - then, according to him, it will become clear that others bought even cheaper. “That last time these documents were stored as the apple of the eye, that in this one,” Navalny was angry (during the first trial in 2013, the documents were not attached to the case; the accusation was insistent that they were insignificant).

The officers joined the policy; He clarified that his companies were only 3% of the Kirovles turnover. “There were hundreds of companies that bought a forest at lower prices than we,” said the officers. - I insist that these documents find. And the prosecutor must support us in this, because they also represent justice. ”

The prosecutor's office did not support the petition. And Judge Vthurin in a very quiet voice read out the decision that the petition was rejected.

“It is clear why prosecutors are against it,” Navalny took the word again. “It destroys their accusation.” The politician again drew the attention of the court to the fact that the key moment of the entire process is taking place. “You are repeated, Alexei,” the judge answered. “The court finally eliminated attempts to conduct an independent trial, you sided with the prosecution and deprived us of any and the last possibility of protection. This is no longer a process with an indictment, it is a predetermined decision! ” - said Navalny. The court and prosecutors did not interrupt.

The defense asked the court to call witnesses for interrogation: the VLK employees who worked with Kirovles, experts and an auditor who could say whether the relations between enterprises were or not. The judge refused.

After one of them, Vtyurin suddenly remembered: he received a telephone message that the consideration of the case of the murder of Boris Nemtsov in Moscow was postponed until February 14th. Navalny’s lawyer Olga Mikhailova, participating in this process, only sighed: "This information is completely outdated."

Officer’s lawyer Svetlana Davydova asked Vtyurin to introduce a copy of the certificate to the case that the son of Peter Officerov was born in 2014. This was her answer to the statement of the witness of the prosecution Olga Grebneva that the 41-year-old entrepreneur acted in the interests of his 35-year-old son. This was perhaps the only application of the defense that the court satisfied.

The interrogation of Alexei Navalny began. He again said that he worked as an adviser on a voluntary basis with the former Governor of the Kirov region Nikita Belykh, dealt with state property, found that Kirovles was the most problematic enterprise of the region, and its general director Vyacheslav Opalev created a “criminal group” within the company. However, the case unfolded against Navalny, when he began anti -corruption investigations, and Opalev gave his testimony against him. “On all television channels, they began to say that the so -called wrestler with corruption stole the entire Kirov forest. But there was no evidence that Navalny received some money from illegal transactions, ”the politician turned to the prosecutors with this phrase; They listened carefully to him.

How long he was familiar with Peter Officer, how Navalny’s communication with the leadership of Kirovles took place, with whom he discussed the problems of the enterprise, what decisions were made. “Nothing was decided - this was one of the reasons why I left Kirov,” Navalny said.

The judge announced the next break, after the resumption of the meeting, Navalny went to the stands and suggested that Vtyurin make a joint selfie. He refused a serious look. Navalny photographed himself against the background of the meeting room and spectators.

Vtyurin unexpectedly cut off the interrogation and announced a break until tomorrow - he, as it turned out, was provided for a trip to the doctor. “I also had to go to the doctor today - to close the sick leave,” the lawyer Davydova objected to him.
