On February 2, the St. Petersburg City Court confirmed the decisions on fines to the activist of the Association of Carriers of Russia. Alexander Makarov was fined 50,500 rubles. This was announced on Facebook by human rights activist Dinar Idrisov.
Makarov was detained on January 5 for blocking the toll road - WHSD - in protest against the paid entry. He was accused of blocking transport communications (Article 20.18 of the Code of Administrative Offenses), later the charge of disobeying the lawful demands of police officers was added (Article 19.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses). As a result, the court fined Makarov 50,000 rubles under the first article, and 500 rubles under the second article. In the court of first instance, these decisions were made in the absence of the activist.
