The court allowed Navalny to leave Kirov before the verdict

The court allowed Alexei Navalny, from whom a written undertaking not to leave Kirov, was taken to leave the city until February 8, when the verdict in the Kirovles case will be announced. Interfax was informed about this in court. Opposition lawyer Vadim Kobzev confirmed this information.

• A travel ban was taken from Navalny on February 1. The oppositionist immediately declared that he was not going to fulfill it. He promised to go to St. Petersburg, where the opening of his election headquarters is scheduled for February 4. Navalny intends to run for president of Russia in 2018.
• At a court hearing on February 3, the prosecutor asked that Navalny and the second defendant in the Kirovles case, Pyotr Ofitserov, be sentenced to suspended sentences. The defendants pleaded not guilty and demanded an acquittal. Navalny promised to continue his election campaign.
