The government decided to raise the fare on federal highways for trucks weighing over 12 tons from April 15. The corresponding decree is published on the website of the government.
The cost of one kilometer according to the Platon system will increase from 1.53 rubles to 3.06 rubles.
At the end of January, the deputy head of the Russian Ministry of Transport, Yevgeny Dietrich , said that the Platon tariff would not be increased from February 1, as previously planned. According to him, the government discussed the option of raising the tariff twice in 2017: from February 1 to 2.61 rubles and from June 1 to 3.06 rubles.
Recall that the Platon federal road toll collection system was launched in November 2015. Initially, the tariff was planned at the level of 3.73 rubles per kilometer, but mass strikes of truckers began in Russia, and because of them, the so-called grace period was introduced - the tariff was temporarily reduced to 1.53 rubles.
