The Kremlin hopes that the militias of the self -proclaimed republics of the Donbass “have enough ammunition” to repulse “aggressive actions”. Such a statement was made by the press secretary of the President of Russia Dmitry Peskov.
“We hope that they have enough ammunition to respond to the aggressive actions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” Interfax quotes him.
At the same time, as the representative of the Kremlin added, the Russian authorities are not engaged in ammunition calculations in the Donbass.
Since the end of January, shelling has resumed in the Donetsk region, the Russian side claims that Ukraine provoked a new round of conflict.
The OSCE mission recorded four T-64 Ukrainian tanks in Avdeevka, they explained in Kiev that the equipment is in the village for an “adequate response in case of an enemy’s attempt to break through the defense of Ukrainian troops”.
