
In Moscow, at the 73rd year of his life, after a long illness, artist Georgy Takorakin died. This was reported on the website of the theater. The Moscow City Council, where the artist has served since 1974.
In 1966, Taratorakin graduated from a drama studio at the Leningrad State Youth Theater and played for eight years in this theater.
Taratorakin starred in more than 30 films. Among them are “crime and punishment”, “cordial affairs”, “we are not given to predict”, “little tragedies”, “purely English murder”, “rich, poor”, “do not be born beautiful”.
Taraterkin was the secretary of the Union of Theater Workers of Russia and the President of the Golden Mask Association.
Since 1996, Taurkin taught acting at VGIK, led a course.
In 1971, the actor received the State Prize of the RSFSR named after the Vasilyev brothers for the role of Rodion Raskolnikov in the film "Crime and Punishment". In 1984, Taratorakin was awarded the title of People's Artist of the RSFSR.
