
The alleged leader of the Shaltai-Boltai hacker group Vladimir Anikyev rejected the version of his cooperation with the head of the FSB Center, Sergey Mikhailov, said Anikeeva Ruslan Koblev, lawyer Anikeeva.
“The arrested FSB officers have nothing to do with the case, he is not familiar with them,” Koblev said.
Anikeev denies the scheme described by Rosbalt, the lawyer said.
Koblev also added that the leader of the group recognizes the charged under Part 3 of Article 272 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal access to computer information).
According to the sources of Rosbalt, Anikeev after the arrest agreed to cooperate with the investigation and gave “detailed testimonies in which Mikhailov was repeatedly mentioned” as a person associated with the group. The interlocutors of the agency also called Mikhailov the "curator" "Shali-Boltya".
On February 1, three arrested employees of the FSB (including Mikhailov) were charged with Gosizmen in favor of the United States. Lawyer Ivan Pavlov specified that "it is about America, but not about the CIA."
On the same day, it became known about the arrest of two more alleged participants in the group, who, according to Kommersant, “surrendered” Anikeev.
Prior to this, the interlocutors of Novaya Gazeta called Mikhailov “introduced by the FSB by an employee of foreign intelligence”, Interfax wrote about the same, but the agency refused to comment on the CIA.
Earlier, the Lefortovo Court of Moscow extended until March 8 the arrest of journalist Vladimir Anikeev, who is the organizer of the Shaltai-Boltai group. Initially, Anikeev was arrested in November 2016.
Mikhailov was arrested on January 25, later two more defendants appeared in the case - Deputy Mikhailov Dmitry Dokuchaev and the manager of Kaspersky Laboratory Ruslan Stoyanov. The source of Interfax said that Anikaev and Mikhailov, along with Dokuchaev and Stoyanov, hacked the accounts of high -ranking Russian officials and businessmen.
