The Russian Embassy did not receive appeals from Austria in connection with the detention in Vienna 22 immigrants from Chechnya, Bulat Khaidarov, a press secretary of the embassy, told TASS.
“There were no appeals from the Austrian authorities or detainees to the Russian Embassy in Austria,” he said.
The embassy "carefully" monitors the situation, added Khaidarov.
