The decision on the suspension of the decree was made by federal judge James Robart. He considered the restrictions on the decree unfair and discriminatory. By the evening, the Ministry of National Security and the State Department confirmed that the issued visas will give the right to enter the states of seven countries mentioned in the presidential decree.

The Decree of the President of the United States "On the Protection of the country from entering foreign terrorists" was signed on January 27 and became the most resonant decision during the first days of the new administration. The document suspenses the reception of refugees: from Syria - for an indefinite period, from other countries - for 120 days. Also for 90 days it is forbidden to enter citizens of countries that cause "special concern." These are seven countries with a predominantly Muslim population: Syria, Iran, Iraq, Libya, Somalia, Sudan and Yemen.

Trump's decree caused a storm of protests in the United States and around the world, his execution is pushed into court prohibitions. Members of the US Senate from the Democratic Party intend to introduce a bill for consideration, which will cancel the validity of the decree. The prosecutors of the 15 US states called this decision of Trump "illegal."
