Six Ukrainians were accused in absentia of attacks on the Kiev Embassy of Russia "in order to provoke warfare"

The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in absentia charged six Ukrainian citizens on attacks on the Russian Embassy in Kiev in 2014 and 2016, according to the website of the department.

"According to the events of 2014, the investigation was charged in absentia on Part 2 of Article 360 ​​of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (" An attack on institutions that enjoy international protection, in order to provoke war and complicate international relations ") to the activist of the Freedom association Vladimir Nazarenko, Vladimir Romantsov and the former deputy of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Nikolai Rudkovsky. In addition, Nazarenko is accused of committing crimes, provided for in Art.

On June 14, 2014, the accused together with other persons took part in the damage to the property of the Russian Embassy, ​​in particular, using improvised means, they threw the facade of the building. In addition, Nazarenko directly participated in the breakdown from the flagpole of the state flag of the Russian Federation and abuse of it. The damage caused to the embassy amounted to more than 14 million rubles, investigators established.

In the case of an attack on the Russian Embassy in Kiev in March 2016, investigators confirmed the involvement of the former Hundred Hundreds of Maidan Irma Kra and two former fighters of the Aydar battalion Sergei Novikov and Alexander Heights. He also charged in absentia under Part 2 of Art. 360 of the Criminal Code. They threw the embassy "Molotov cocktails", according to the investigation, "pursuing the goal of complicating international relations between Russia and Ukraine."
