“His bladder began to work, the kidneys began to filter out blood again,” Kara-Murza Sr. said.

The hospitalization of Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr. became known on the morning of February 2. Vadim Prokhorov told NT that Vladimir Kara-Murza is in a serious condition, with symptoms reported to the family reminiscent of the poisoning in 2015.

At the end of May 2015, Kara-Murza Jr. was taken away in a serious condition by ambulance, the doctors diagnosed him with acute renal failure, he was in an artificial coma. Later, the examination revealed an increased concentration of heavy metals in his body: the concentration of manganese in the studied samples exceeded the norm by 59.5 times, copper - by 1.8 times, zinc - by 2.25 times, mercury - by 1.2 times.

In January 2016, Kara-Murza Jr. applied to the Investigative Committee with a request to conduct a comprehensive toxicological examination as part of a pre-investigation check on a statement about his intentional poisoning. There was no criminal case at that time.
