"Golden Mask" announced the program "Institute of Theater"

The program of the new season of the "Institute of Theater" - the educational project of the Golden Mask festival, aimed at the preparation of young theater professionals, the study and critical analysis of new forms of theater and new theatrical practices, has been published.

On February 25, the program “Theater of theater - 2017” will open a practical course for theatrical critics “Theory and practice of writing. Is it possible to learn to write well about the theater and what is “good” ” (the curator is Julia Bederova).

The “strategies are applied” , a seminar for the heads of the literary part and those who want to become them will be held from March 9 to 12 (curator - Pavel Rudnev).

On March 1, the programs of the seminar “Ghost of the Expertise. How to carry out an art examination in the cultural situation of our time? " and the cycle "Academic conversations" in the "Electrotheater Stanislavsky".

The Institute of Theater was created in 2013. Since then, in creative laboratories, seminars and master classes in new music in the theater, modern dance and performance, theatrical criticism, theatrical pedagogy, theatrical design, several hundred students and young professionals took part.
