Rallies will be monitored from airships

The National Guard will control rallies, concerts and football matches with the help of airships, writes Izvestia . Equipped with high-quality optics, high-altitude scouts will be able to identify specific instigators of unrest. Now specially equipped helicopters are used for these tasks. The cost of their flight hour is an order of magnitude more expensive than a few hours of operating an airship.

According to Izvestia, the cost of a helicopter flight hour is 110-150 thousand rubles. In an airship, this figure rarely exceeds 10 thousand. Airships are already included in the plan for the purchase of new equipment. Their first use is possible already during the Confederations Cup in July 2017.
