About homeopathy, I only know what I read about it with Bulgakov - "fifteen drops and you will stop feeling something." Which, of course, does not stop me from speaking.
It is funny as the recognition of something “unscientific” looks as menacing as in the old days “excommunication”. Although, it would seem - well, science, so what?
This is a slender closed area with thoughtful internal laws of construction and a limited sphere of application. She draws the boundaries herself, and consciously (which, in fact, first of all distinguishes her from non-shows).
But we pulled this sphere on the whole globe, as before, religion. Humanity, apparently, simply cannot. It would be better if art was pulled - at least it is not boring with it.
Today, RAS presented that she was the Inquisition and declared the homeopathy for pseudoscience. The funny thing is that the very existence of some kind of collection of scientists who spend their time on declaring something pseudoscience is pseudoscientia. For in the history of mankind, too many times, many important knowledge have been declared false. And they were declared not by anyone, but by scientists. Experience in science is the most important tool of knowledge. So anyone who is not based on this sad experience of science is unlikely to be seriously a scientist. I do not see the practical meaning in any official body to declare something pseudoscience.
Homeopathy from now on pseudoscience. Very good, now tell us, please, someone why it should interest me.
Who decides to accept the call, let it take into account that homeopathy is also pseudoscience (that is, by the decision of the same court) as genetics, and it should be opposed to this science - which one would choose for an example? Separately, I ask you to draw your attention that I am not going to prove the truth of the teachings of Ganeman (very bizarre). I want to do what I want to do: to ask the authority on behalf of which the today's anathema occurs, and to find out in which fields are still its crops.

I am surprised how people amaze with their knowledge about the number of aviado, gained in the fifth grade, not wanting to think and take a closer look. Only I know about ten examples, including from the history of my family, including cases when official medicine refused to fight or was powerless. <...>

You can doubt even the highest breeding. But homeopaths work completely and with lower breeding (i.e. higher concentrations) of substances.

И сколько их них не получает пусть плохого, но лечения, которое могло бы помочь! И после этого Вы говорите о «самочувствии» и «страдании»?.. Вы вправе быть тут невежественным, но я – профессионал, и у меня нет такого права. И потому я говорю Вам – гомеопатия не лечит, она подменяет лечение, и потому она зло.
Ещё об одном. Мне наплевать на доходы производителей. Но мне не наплевать, когда обиженный на медицину и соблазнённый гомеопатией больной не покупает лекарств, которые лечат, не только потому, что у него просто нет денег, чтобы купить и то, и другое! Ваши рассуждения о «вспомогательных методиках» абстрактно хороши, но только не для нашей нищей державы! Понимаете, на такие правильные и красивые решения у большинства больных просто нет денег.И если уж вы считаете нашу медицину совсем плохой, то даже плохое лучше, чем ничего. А гомеопатия – это и есть «ничего». В чистом виде.

Гомеопатия не является наукой и не использует науку, о чем можно заключить по целому ряду признаков (попробуйте сами догадаться).
При этом есть много хороших и разных вещей, которые не являются наукой и кому-то помогают. Например, религия.
Просто хорошо, когда всё называется своим именем.

В ленте пишут, что не бросят гомеопатию в беде, миллионы гомеопатических аптек не могут ошибаться, великого Лавуазье тоже не принимали с его метеоритами, Иисуса Христа и Будду не печатали, а еще все смеялись над шпионским камнем, а он оказался правдой!
То есть, стоило тронуть пальцем мумие для интеллигенции, - как те же люди, которые хихикают в кулачок над народными верованиями в пояс Богородицы, принялись озвучивать ровно те же аргументы бабок с лавочки, только через деепричастные обороты. Наука, понимаешь, не доказала, что Бога нет.

Задумалась над реакциями видимой мне части общества на антигомеопатический меморандум комиссии по борьбе с лженаукой. Навскидку тут видны несколько любопытных моментов.
Во-первых, ассоциация гомеопатии Ганемана с "природой", с целительной силой "натуральных лекарств" (отсюда и частое объединение фитотерапии и гомеопатии в узком смысле под общим зонтичным термином). В XIX веке популярность учения Ганемана не случайно возрастала вместе с технократизацией медицины (а также урбанизацией европейских обществ), отчуждением тела пациента в пространстве больницы и переносом в сферу медицинского внимания процессов и явлений, прежде считавшихся "естественными".
Во-вторых, интересно, какое место гомеопатия занимала в позднесоветской и постсоветской лечебной практике и каким образом она получила в воображении российских граждан то место, которое получила: подозреваю, что ее влияние существенно расширялось за счет сознательного и бессознательного противостояния позитивистской официальной медицине, действующей таблетками и скальпелем и интенсивно вторгающейся в границы тела.
В-третьих (и это самое важное, на мой взгляд), нынешняя дискуссия имеет очевидный политический аспект: речь идет о праве на собственное тело, о возможности нынешних социально взрослых граждан принимать решения - касающиеся не только своего здоровья, но и здоровья детей, т. е. граждан будущих. Поэтому одна из сторон настойчиво отождествляет комиссию против лженауки с государством (и это позволяет начать борьбу с государственным патернализмом), а другая пользуется аргументом "но ведь гомеопатией начинают лечить детей, упуская время для настоящей терапии" (и это позволяет призывать доказательную медицину в качестве полицейского или по крайней мере представителя опеки, делегируя ученым биополитическую функцию).
Основной же вопрос заключается в том, как обеим сторонам, в равной степени озабоченным здоровьем и благополучием, своим и своих близких, вести диалог друг с другом: аргументы о доказанной бессмысленности разведений и числе Авогадро, с одной стороны, и о заговоре бигфармы против "горошков", с другой, не приведут к пониманию.
Обсуждение стало настолько массовым, что вскоре породило даже новую форму снобизма - демонстративно уклоняться от дискуссии.

Меня недавно один хороший человек спросил "ну ты себя за что-нибудь хвалишь?". Вот сегодня я себя точно могу похвалить: я до сих пор не влезла ни в один спор о гомеопатии. Вот же молодец-то, а!
Коммуникативное поле фейсбука похоже на какую-нибудь салонную игру – вроде «шляпы» или «лото».
Допустим, в обувную коробку кладут некоторое количество маленьких бумажек, на каждой из которых написано какое-нибудь слово или словосочетание.
Ведущий – лучше всего, чтобы это был ребенок, еще не научившийся читать - засовывает туда руку и вынимает одну из бумажек. На бумажке написано, к примеру, слово «Трамп». Или, допустим, «Исаакий». Или «Черта оседлости». Или «Гомеопатия».
После этого все по кругу должны очень быстро придумать и произнести какую-нибудь фразу, где непременно должно быть использовано это слово в различных падежах и формах.
Обмен репликами постепенно перерастает в спор, часто переходящий в ссору.
Выигрывает тот, кто первый скажет: «Ну, хватит, надоело! Тащи другое слово».
Хрен с ней, с гомеопатией, лишь бы святую воду не запретили.
