
TSU scientists, together with partners from Russian and foreign universities, plan to train specialists with comprehensive knowledge about migration processes in Europe and Asia, the press service of the university reports.
According to the head of the program, the head of the Laboratory of Social and Anthropological Research of Irina to us, the creation of a program is a response to a shortage of qualified specialists in this field. “Russia requires specialists who would not only own information, but could professionally analyze comprehensive migration processes and influence them: as experts, as scientists, as managers. We will prepare graduates who are able to work in any of these areas, ”Irina emphasized us.
Students of the magistracy will study the problems of European and Eurasian migration systems, migration policy and migrant integration policies. It is planned that not only anthropologists, but also economists, lawyers, sociologists, political scientists, specialists in the field of international relations will also read the courses, special courses from Russian and foreign experts are also provided.
Graduates of any socio-humanitarian specialties can become applicants. At TSU it is hoped that the program will also be interested in students and specialists from Central Asia and Europe who want to get new qualifications.
