Several dozens of men, relatives of the local resident Alam Khadzhaev, expelled from the Chechen village of Achkhoy-Martan, the Memorial human rights center reports . He was found guilty of an accident that entailed the death of several people.

On November 27, 2016, Khadzhaev drove into the oncoming lane and collided with a car in which five members of the Shuipov family were traveling, including two children. All of them, as well as Khadzhiev himself and his cousin who was in the car, died. According to the police, the culprit of the traffic accident was Khadzhaev, who was intoxicated.

On the night of November 28, police officers arrived at the Hajjaev’s house and took all the male relatives who were at that moment in the house of the Muzhin’s house with the head of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Achkhoy-Martan district. He, referring to the order of the head of the republic, Ramzan Kadyrov, ordered them to leave the territory of Chechnya within two hours. After that, police officers arrived in the village and began to demand the execution of the order. They threatened to "beat" disobeying to death. The police also demanded not to complain anywhere.

For some time the expelled people lived with distant relatives in Ingushetia. However, at the end of December, the Ingush police demanded that they leave the territory of the republic.

“To date, most people evicted from Chechnya are wandering around different regions of Russia. We know that at least one of them tried to return to his house in Achkhoy -Martan, was beaten by police and left the Chechnya again,” the memorial noted.

He is suspected of killing the press secretary of the district administration of Ammerkhan Kokurkhoev during a domestic conflict. The decision was made at the popular gathering. The audience "recommended" Kotiev’s family members to leave Nesterovskoye in order to avoid new conflicts.
