The murder in Donetsk commander of the battalion of the "Somali" battalion Mikhail Tolstoy (Givi) committed four of his subordinates. This was stated by one of them, Russian citizen Igor Myltsev, reports New Gazeta.

According to Myltsev, who served in Somalia as a volunteer and had the call sign “Frenchman”, this was Givi revenge for betrayal during the fighting near Avdeevka at the end of January.

According to him, the order to open fire on the positions of Somali he gave himself to Tolstoy.

The version of the authorities of the DPR attributing the murder of the Tolstoy to the "Ukrainian saboteurs", the soapers called the Mileses ridiculous. "The SBU does not go beyond the line, they are hung up!" he wrote.

On the page of Myltsev, shortly after the attempt on Tolstoy, the record appeared: "Dog Dog death! Givi, this is for you for the boys who died near Avdeevka! Zakharchenko, you are the next!"

According to Moltsev, after the murder of Arseniy Pavlov (Motorola), the commander of Somali was seriously afraid of his life. For security reasons, he took his family to Transnistria for security and planned to go there himself, but did not have time.

On the morning of Thursday, Tolstoy was killed in his office in Donetsk with a shot from the bumblebee jet fireflow. The DPR Prosecutor's Office has already stated that the attack was organized by the Ukrainian sabotage and intelligence group

Advisor to the Minister of Internal Affairs of Ukraine Zoryan Shkiryak rejected the accusations of organizing the murder of Tolstoy. “What else can they say? What are they, excuse me, they are urging in the toilet? It is clear that they need to blame someone,” said the Shkiryak.

The accusations of the murder of Givi were also rejected in the Kremlin. “We absolutely unequivocally deny the accusations against Russia about possible involvement. There can be no talk of this,” said the presidential press secretary Dmitry Peskov. “It is obvious that we are talking about an attempt to destabilize the situation in the Donbass.”

“Of course, we hope that there is a certain margin of strength, and those who are behind such killings will not be able to lead to further escalation,” Peskov noted. He emphasized that the situation in the east of Ukraine "already remains very tense in connection with the aggressive actions that the Ukrainian side takes."

Tolstoy was born in 1980 in Ilovaysk. In 1998-2000 he served in the Armed Forces of Ukraine, in the Desna training center. Military specialty is the commander of the tank. Then he worked as an industrial climber, was a driver of a diesel loader at a cable plant.

Givi and the Somali battalion became known during the battles for the new terminal of the Donetsk airport. In addition, a detachment of militants under the command of Tolstoy fought near Ilovaisk, where he participated surrounded by a Ukrainian group. On February 16, 2015, Tolstoy was included in the sanctions list of the European Union.

On March 19 of the same year, an attempt was committed at Givi - his car received damage, the militant himself was not injured.

The military prosecutor's office of Ukraine suspected Tolstoy of the commission of criminal offenses provided for in paragraph 1 of Article 258-3 (creation of a terrorist organization, management and participation in it), part 2 of Article 28, part 2 of article 437 (complicity of aggressive war), part 2 of article 28, part 1 of article 438 (cruelty of prisoners of war), part 2 of article 146 (illegal deprivation Freedom or abduction of a person) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
