
The coordinator of Open Russia Vladimir Kara-Murza Jr. was taken out of an artificial coma. This was announced by his lawyer Vadim Prokhorov in Facebook.
“I would like to warn against excessive premature optimism - while the condition continues to be difficult,” Prokhorov said.
At the same time, according to the lawyer, the work of the heart was almost completely restored, hemodialysis is disconnected, for some time Kara-Murza Jr. does without the apparatus of artificial ventilation of the lungs.
Vladimir Kara-Murza was urgently hospitalized on the morning of February 2. His lawyer claimed that the politician found symptoms of poisoning similar to those that he had during the last hospitalization in May 2015. The next day, the patient was introduced into an artificial one.
The Investigative Committee began verification after the hospitalization of Kara-Murza Jr.. Doctors diagnosed the patient with “acute intoxication by an unknown substance”. At the same time, doctors believe that the diagnosis does not mean that the politician was poisoned.
The lawyer of Kara-Murza defends the version of poisoning. In an interview with Interfax, Prokhorov recalls that last time doctors called the cause of intoxication the medicine taken by the politician. This time, Kara-Murza did not take medications, the lawyer notes, so "the situation is more mysterious, it is impossible to write off the medicine."
