360 kilograms of cocaine washed ashore in England
In England, on the coast of the North Sea on February 9-10, bags with cocaine with a total weight of 360 kilograms were found. This is reported by the National Crime Agency.
The bags were found in Norfolk County on two beaches located close to each other. Law enforcement authorities believe they were washed ashore.
The lot could be worth £50m at retail, the crime-fighting agency said.
“Now we, together with the border guard, coast guard and local police, are trying to find out how the bags ended up in these places. It is highly unlikely that they were supposed to be delivered there, ”a spokesman for the agency said.
