Thus, the Supreme Court of the Russian Federation upheld the sentence imposed on Nizhnevartovsk resident Marcel Gabbasov by the Volga District Military Court on October 31, 2016 for participation in the activities of a terrorist organization (Part 2 of Article 205.5 of the Criminal Code) and inciting hatred (Part 1 of Article 282 of the Criminal Code) . Gabbasov was sentenced to 6 years in prison and a fine of 55.8 thousand rubles.
