Mixed martial arts fighter Alexander Emelianenko signed a contract to play in the league of the Chechen club Akhmat, reports Interfax. The representative of the fighter Jeff Monson said that he was in talks about the fight with Emelianenko.

In November 2016, Emelianenko was released from the colony. He was imprisoned for harassing a woman who cleaned his apartment.

Alexander Emelianenko spent 30 fights, of which he won 23. He last fought three years ago.
