At least 18 oppositionists who took part in a protest against the arrest of activist Mark Galperin were detained on Vasilievsky Spusk in Moscow. As protest participant Yuri Gorsky said, one of the activists took out a poster, after which “three dozen” police officers ran up to them and began detaining people.
According to Yuriy Gorsky, the police detained 30-50 activists. OVD-Info reports 18 detainees.
- Mark Galperin was arrested on February 9 for 10 days for disobeying the police. The activist left the police station where he was taken after being interrogated by the FSB.
- Galperin is a defendant in a case of multiple violations of the law on rallies . He is also a witness in a case of public calls to violate the territorial integrity of the Russian Federation. On February 7, he was interrogated in the case of calls.
