For three years, the tax system in Russia should be configured so that since 2019 not to touch it for at least six years. This was in an interview with Gazeta.Ru by the head of the Ministry of Finance Anton Siluanov.
“The Ministry of Finance does not imply any radical changes in the existing tax system. It is quite efficient and does not need significant substantive changes, ”the minister emphasized.
According to Siluanov, the authorities are not going to increase the tax burden, however, in the context of the reduction of oil and gas and non -resource budget revenues, it will not be possible to "discuss the issue of a significant reduction in the tax burden."
“But we are well aware that we need to support our entrepreneurs, to create a normal business environment for them, no worse than in other countries. After all, we are talking about ensuring the growth rate of the economy not lower than the world. Therefore, we will translate taxes, without increasing the tax burden. The load will not change, maybe even somewhere to be reduced, for those who work “in white” today, ”he said.
Siluanov added that the state will have to abandon ineffective support measures, as well as optimize regulation in the field of work of small and medium -sized businesses. “We will simplify tax administration, reduce tax and statistical reports and systematize various payments to the treasury,” he said.
Russian President Vladimir Putin in December 2016 during his annual message to the Federal Assembly instructed the government in 2017 to work out all proposals to “configure” the tax system so that the amendments to the legislation began to operate since the beginning of 2019. Prior to this, in September it was reported that the head of state decided not to increase taxes until 2019. Then Siluanov said that the Ministry of Finance does not plan to increase the tax burden in 2017-2019.
