In Smolny, three options for socio-economic development of St. Petersburg were presented until 2035-“Basic”, “Basic Plus” and “Target”. With the target option, the average salary in St. Petersburg should be 133 thousand rubles by 2035.
According to the basic scenario, the growth rate of the gross regional product (GRP) will amount to 3 %annually, and investments will increase to 20 %. The number of residents of the city by 2035 will increase to 5.8 million people. The optimistic target option provides that GRP growth will be from 2.3 % from 2017 to 2020, and by 2035 this indicator will reach 5 %. According to this option, the population of St. Petersburg in 2035 will be 6.6 million people. An increase will be ensured by natural growth by only 30 %, otherwise the population will increase migrants. The average monthly nominal accrued salary with this development option in 2035 should amount to 133 thousand rubles.
At the end of 2016, the average salary in St. Petersburg was about 48 thousand.
