The builders who worked at the stadium on Krestovsky complained to Putin on Smolny and announced fraud with the ground

The Moscow company “Leok”, which for the 2018 World Cup must improve the acceleum at the stadium on Krestovsky, complained to President Vladimir Putin on Smolny.

In contact with the president, a company, which received a contract of 1.7 billion rubles, said that in 2016, the head of the construction committee, Sergei Morozov, began to force them to leave the construction site and abandon the order. This conflict in the company is explained by the fact that the alluvial territory transferred to them for improvement turned out to be “defective”, which the builders informed Morozov last summer.

“Our company recorded a deviation from design solutions, violation of work technology and the lack of specialized materials,” the letter said. According to Leokama, when creating the alluvial territory, builders used cheaper sand than they declared, and thereby they could spend 600 million rubles less to work than they received. The Leokama emphasized that this information has already been interested in the FSB.

Another claim of Leokama is that Smolny did not give them the necessary documentation, agreed estimates and building permit. Nevertheless, in April 2016, the general contractor nevertheless began the implementation of those works that could be completed without the above documents. The first and only advances of 225 million rubles “Leok” received in early June. According to the company, the builders mastered 230 million, but Smolny accepted the work only by 93 million rubles.

As a result, the conflict, according to representatives of the company, ended with the fact that in Smolny they ordered to transfer the contract to the St. Petersburg Renaissance.

In January 2017, both “Leok” and Smolny sent notifications to each other about termination of the contract unilaterally. Now in the arbitration court the lawsuit of Smolny against the company is being considered.

Sergei Morozov himself has already stated that all the data from the letter of Leokama to Putin are “unfounded accusations”.
