Minsk disagreement

In Minsk, a march of crushed Belarusians was held, reports Khartya'97. Its participants demanded that the authorities cancel the “decree on parasitism” and other measures that worsen the economic situation of the country's residents.

Several thousand people participated in the march. It is noted that these are the largest protests since 2010. Although the action was not agreed with the authorities, it passed without major provocations and other serious excesses. The police behaved very restrained.

The organizers of the march are the leaders of the Belarusian National Congress (BNK), ex -candidates for the presidency of Belarus in the 2010 election Nikolai Statkevich and Vladimir Neklyaev, as well as activists Evgeny Afnagel, Pavel Severinets, Valery Schukin.

The march began with a rally on Oktyabrskaya Square. The participants chanted the "Live Belarus", "illegal devices - Basta", "illegal power - Basta."

Then the participants of the action moved along Independence Avenue to the Ministry of Taxes and Gathering. Ahead of the columns carried a large stretch with the inscription "Basta!" On one of the banners deployed by the demonstrators, it was written "HTO Galona Darmad? Prezidant!" In the hands of the participants were national white-red-white flags. Some demonstrators burned fires.

The ministry building continued. On the steps, the participants burned notifications on the payment of "Tuneusa tax".

“We give the authorities a month to fulfill our requirements. If they refuse - March 25 (the day of the will, the anniversary of the declaration of independence of Belarus in 1918. - Ed.) We will gather together again. If we gather 10 times more than today - we will not only abolish the decree, but also dismiss this Hamlo, which illegally rules the country,” Statkevich said. The rally participants chanted "Resignation!" And “Go away!”, Demanding the resignation of President Alexander Lukashenko.

After the end of the action, its participants diverged in groups, fearing the detentions. However, no messages have received any incidents.

The decree on the "Tuneus Tuneus" was signed by Lukashenko in April 2015. According to this document, citizens of Belarus, as well as foreign citizens and stateless persons permanently residing in the country who did not participate in financing government spending or participated in financing less than 183 calendar days a year, must pay a fee of 20 basic units (about 230 euros).
