© New space of the Theater of NationsOn March 11, April 29 in the new space of the Nations Theater in Moscow will be demonstrated by two installations of the German composer and director Hayner Göbbels.
The first, Landscape 3 , will be located on the ground floor of a new space , it can only be seen for twelve days. The initial version of the installation was created for the Ruhr Tiennale in 2014.
In Landscape 3 (Duisburg Nord, 2016) is the record of the fourth part of the Oratorio De Materie, the Dutch composer Louis Andrissen performed by Ensemble Modern under the control of Peter Runlandel. The installation content is kept secret.
The second installation is “Genko-A 107031” (Moscow, 2017) for video, 8-channel sound, water and wave machine was created specifically for the new space of the theater of nations.
The impulse to the creation of the installation was a visit by the author of the Buddhist Temple of Genko-An in Kyoto. By quoting the construction of windows in the Kyoto Temple, instead of the traditional Japanese garden, Hayner Göbbels creates the "Garden of Votes".
Rare ethnographic notes that have preserved the speech of the speakers of disappearing languages echo there with the voices of writers, artists and musicians - John Cage, Elvin Lucer, Committee, Sinho Namchilak, Gertruda Stein, Marina Abramovich and Ulya, Hininer Müller, Bob Rutman and others. In the gap, the silence of the hall will be violated by fragments of the novel by Henry Toro orchestra composition of Hayner Goobbels “Walden” performed by Ensemble Modern under the direction of Peter Etvosha.
