detained 10 people during the day in Simferopol, who came to support the Crimean Tatar activist Marlen Mustafaev, were arrested by the court for five days each for holding an uncoordinated event. This was announced on Facebook by Anton Naumlyuk.
On February 21, Marlen Mustafayev's house was searched, after which he was detained and arrested for 11 days for demonstrating extremist symbols. Together with Mustafayev, 10 people were detained, who came to the activist's house for support. The police officers accused the visitors of an uncoordinated public event (Article 20.2 of the Code of Administrative Offenses) and detained them.
The names of the 10 people arrested are: Ruslan Suleymanov, Osman Arifmimetov, Remzi Bekirov, Medzhit Abdurakhmanov, Ablyakim Abdurakhmanov, Walid Abu Farid, Seyran Murtazaev, Alim Karimov, Reza Izetov, Enver Tasinov.
All the detainees said that until late in the evening they were kept in an unheated vehicle, not allowed to eat or drink. One of the detainees said that he was beaten, he hardly entered the courtroom.
As lawyer Emil Kurbedinov wrote , no defense lawyer was summoned to the trial of the three detainees. And at the trial in the case of Ablyakim Abdurakhmanov, a witness was brought in who spoke with difficulty. He told the court that he did not know the accused:
A lieutenant came up and said: “Here are the documents, sign them.” I signed everything. I didn't read without glasses. It was finely written.
“Did you see any riots, any violations of public order?” asks lawyer Emil Kurbedinov.
- No. I saw traffic cops, the police.
