The representative of Russia at the UN Vitaly Churkin died

Vitaly Churkin was born in 1952. On February 21, he would have turned 65 years old.

“The Russian Foreign Ministry with a deep regret reports that on February 20, the day before its 65th anniversary, a permanent representative of the Russian Federation at the UN V.I. Churkin died suddenly in New York,” the department said.

As the press service of the Foreign Ministry notes, he passed away at a working post.
