American woman's iPhone 7 Plus exploded

Arizona resident Brianna Olivas reported that her iPhone 7 Plus exploded. She tweeted a video of a smoking iPhone; On the video you can see that his body has melted.

“My iPhone 7 Plus exploded this morning. I didn’t even use it [at this point], there is no explanation,” she wrote.

According to Olivas, the iPhone stopped turning on the day before. Apple support tested the smartphone and said that everything was fine with it; after that, it worked properly for a while, reports Mashable.

Olivas handed over the smartphone to Apple to find out the reasons for the incident.

• According to The Guardian, at least one case of an iPhone 7 explosion was previously known - this happened in Australia in October.
• In the second half of 2016, due to numerous fires and battery explosions, Samsung's flagship smartphone, the Galaxy Note 7, was recalled.
