The legendary Nokia 3310 returned. Or not?

The Finnish company showed new old phones. Do not rush to rejoice

The Finnish company HMD Global Oy, which develops devices under the Nokia brand, introduced new phones at the Mobile World Congress conference on February 26 - both Android smartphones and the updated version of the legendary Nokia 3310 model. Nokia 3310

The original Nokia 3310 was released in 2000 - it turned out to be one of the most successful models of the company. The phone had an indestructible corps, he held the charge for an endlessly for an endlessly, and there was also a “snake” game in it.

HMD decided to please fans and announced the restart of the model. The new phone is also called Nokia 3310, its design slightly resembles the design of the original model, but otherwise it is an ordinary “stupid” phone, which are a mass of this brand.

The battery of the new Nokia 3310 can withstand 22 hours of conversation on one charge, and if you do not touch the phone, it will last up to a month. He has a 2.4-inch color screen; A two-megapicel camera, radio, MP3-player, a memory card slot are built into the phone. There is a version with support for two SIM cards. The phone will be sold in four colors for 49 euros (about three thousand rubles).

"Snake"

And in the new Nokia 3310 - the updated version of the game "Snake", in which you need to control the snake collecting fruits.

For the sake of “snakes” it is not necessary to buy a new phone - the game appeared on Facebook messenger.

To get to her, you need to go into the chat with a friend, click on the game section button and select “Snake” there. This works both in the mobile and in the desktop version of the messenger. However, you should not lay big hopes on the "snake" - it looks so -so; It is played no better.

Nokia on Android

Fans (and we, among them) were waiting, first of all, Nokia 3310, but HMD relies on smartphones. In January 2017, the Finnish company introduced the Nokia 6 - the first phone under the Nokia brand working on Android. Then it was available only in the Chinese market.

At the presentation on February 26, HMD announced that now Nokia 6 enters the global market. A phone with a screen of 5.5 inches will cost 229 euros. Separately, they are going to sell the more powerful Arte Black model, something like an analogue of the iPhone 7 Jet Black colors-it will cost 299 euros.

HMD also introduced two less expensive versions of Android telephones: Nokia 5 with a screen of 5.2 inches and Nokia 3 with a five-inch screen and without a sensor fingerprint. Nokia 5 will cost 189 euros, and Nokia 3 will cost 50 euros cheaper.

All three phones are running the “pure” Android with all the advantages of the system, including the Google Assistant virtual assistant, and are created from a whole piece of aluminum. They will go on sale in the second quarter of 2017. Then the new Nokia 3310 will come out.
