
Today, February 27, at a press conference in Moscow, the first season of the new literary prize "Lyceum" named after A.S. Pushkin. The prize fund of the award established to encourage young authors is 4.8 million rubles.
According tothe Lotta -RF portal, the founders of the prize are the Lotta group of companies in Russia, the Russian Book Union, the Federal Agency for Press and Mass Communications (Rospping), the Literary Institute named after Gorky, the Association of Literary Magazines, the Center for Support for Russian Literature, the Russian Gazeta and the Literary Gazeta.

According to the deputy head of Rospechat Vladimir Grigoryev, 4.8 million rubles of the prize fund will be distributed between laureates in two large nominations - “Poetry” and “Prose”.
In each of them, three prizes will be awarded, winners will receive 1.2 million rubles, a prize for second place - 700 thousand rubles, for third place - 500 thousand rubles.
Grigoryev also said that the jury of the award will include seven people, the chairman of the jury - writer Pavel Basinsky.
Until April 18, there is a reception for a manuscript competition of authors aged 15 to 35 years, the short list of nominees will be announced on May 16, the winner-on Pushkin’s birthday, June 6. On the same day, a bonus ceremony will be held on Red Square in Moscow.
