At the European Athletics Championship, only Daria Klina will present Russia

At the European Athletics Winter Championship in the room, which will be held in Belgrade from March 3 to 5, Russia will be represented only by the jump in the length of Daria Klisina.

In the application, published on Monday by the European Athletics Association, it is indicated as a neutral athlete.

Recall that Klimina was admitted to international competitions as a neutral athlete before the 2016 Olympics.

Last week, the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) has allowed three more Russian athletes to international tournaments under the neutral flag. The applications of jumping with the pole of Angelica Sidorova, the runner Kristina Sivkova and the thrower of the hammer Alexei Sokirsky were approved.

However, according to rusathletics.com , Sidorova has already completed the season, Sivkova got sick, and the hammer throw, where Sokiri acts, was not presented in the tournament program.

In total, IAAF received 48 applications from Russian athletes, 28 of them were supported by the All -Russian Federation of Athletics (VFLA). Six applications were rejected, the rest are under consideration. It is expected that all processing procedures will be completed by mid -March.
