On Sunday, new protests were held in the country, the score of the participants is already going on thousands

On February 17 in Minsk, the march of the crushed Belarusians did not, contrary to the forecasts of skeptics, a single action, and the degree of protests continues to increase. On Sunday, February 26, the angry Belarusians protested in four cities: Vitebsk, Brest, Baranovichi and Bobruisk. On March 11, Pinsk promises to go out, and on March 25, marches will pass throughout the country.

On February 17, about five thousand people entered the October Square of Minsk - this became the most mass action since December 2010, when mass repressions began after the presidential election in the country, and the protests were suppressed. Now, it seems, the real “Belarusian Spring” begins: on February 18 and 19, marches of angry Belarusians took place in Gomel, Mogilev, Grodno, Vitebsk and Brest. Gomel became the leader - three thousand people went to the Square of the uprising. And Vitebsk then collected only a few hundred.

But this weekend, the inhabitants of Vitebsk showed their teeth: two and a half thousand people took to the streets.

In Bobruisk, which has always been a sleeping city and awkward Internet meme and where a little more than 200 thousand people live, and a half thousand took part in the protest rally. This has not happened yet.

These protests are different from all previous ones. Despite the fact that the declared goal is the abolition of the humiliating Lukashenkovsky decree on the parasitism, obliging everyone who does not work, to pay the state of vows - the participants of marches said not only that they demand the abolition of the decree. They went under the most popular in Belarus with the slogans "Basta!" And "Lukashenko, go away!" And they talked about that economic pit, exorbitant prices, about unemployment, a slave contract system, the inability to pay for their studies and a hopeless future for these children in Belarus.

“If Lukashenko ruined the whole economy, it means that he ruined politics. Leave already! " - It sounded at rallies.

Another difference from previous protests is the willingness to declare your protest publicly. Previously, ordinary townspeople, especially not in the capital, were afraid to speak on camera and voice recorders. Only the organizers, opposition politicians and activists were publicly performed, and the participants supported them with the chanting of “Life Belarus!”. Now, the participants of the marches themselves were looking for journalists to say to say: "Lukashenko, Basta!" By the way, most often they turn to him to "you".

Perhaps the most important thing is the complete absence of shares in Vitebsk, Bobruisk, Baranavichy. There were no applicants. No one took responsibility, did not notify the city authorities, did not distribute leaflets, did not write appeals: people self -organized.

“Vitebsk was a large industrial city, and now what? In what condition is Kim, Monolith, Comintern? Lukashenko, leave in a good way, otherwise it will be bad. ”

The police did not interfere. Unless three people in Vitebsk detained and drew up protocols. But this is more likely to be a Poinersia. When there is no direct team - the security forces prefer not to intervene.

And there could be no teams: Alexander Lukashenko just in case left for Sochi on February 15 and “calmed down” there. They joked: he escaped, but more likely, he waited on the ski slope of Vladimir Putin. The day before, the official Minsk said that the decision of the gas dispute with Russia was found, it remained to assure him at the political level. But Putin did not appear in Sochi - he preferred Kazakhstan and the Society of Elbasy Nazarbayev. That is, it turns out that Lukashenko was in vain in vain money on a foreign trip. And the angry Belarusians now consider every penny.

On March 25, not thousands of, but tens of thousands plan to go to the streets. So they agreed among themselves.
