
The court in the Oryol region repeatedly refused the parole of Oleg Navalny, convicted of the Yves Rocher case. This was announced by his brother, politician Alexei Navalny.
The lawyer of Navalny at the meeting noted that his client handed over to the colony of more than 500 books of the “permitted nature”.

Representatives of the colony read out data on the penalties received by Navalny. Among them there were penalties for bread crumbs on the table, a dream at 5 in the morning, a report not in form and conversations with prisoners after the end.
In June 2016, Navalny was also refused UPO. Earlier it became known that before a court hearing, he received several new penalties.
The verdict in the case of Yves Rocher, accused of which the brothers Alexei and Oleg Navalny took place in December 2014. The court sentenced Oleg Navalny to 3.5 years in the colony, Alexei Navalny received a suspended sentence. They themselves insisted on their innocence and called the matter politically motivated.
