The presidential administration instructed the relevant ministries to provide a monthly report on economic events that can affect the mood of Russians before the election of the head of state in 2018. This was reported by Vedomosti with reference to federal officials and representatives of state -owned companies.
According to the newspaper, such instructions were received by the Ministry of Energy, the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade. The ministries determine the lists of leading companies that will have to prepare reports on “most sensitive events” every month.
We are talking about such a company as Mechel, Rosneft, Lukoil, Gazprom, RusHydro, Russian Railways. Employees of some enterprises confirmed the receipt of requests.
Presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov noted that "everything is in line with the usual exchange of information."
Sources of Kommersant, close to the presidential administration (AP), argue that the informal election headquarters of Vladimir Putin will begin work in March, a year before the presidential election. The publication also notes that the basis of the campaign can be state corporations and state -owned companies.
“In the Duma elections, they gave a rough 50% turnout. Where else to get people? If it is possible to work with state corporation enterprises, the turnout will be 70%, ”said Kommersant's interlocutor.
The key task of the AP election campaign sees an increase in voters. To attract people to the polls, the Kremlin is also going to cancel the absenteeism and increase the number of polling stations.
