
Three -time Olympic champion went out on the ice with Boris Mikhailov and Valderiy Kharlamov
On February 28, in Moscow, in the 70th year of his life, the famous Soviet hockey player Vladimir Petrov died. He was remembered for performances in the Moscow CSKA and the USSR national team as part of the three with Boris Mikhailov and Valery Kharlamov.
Petrov won the "gold" of the Olympic Games in 1972 and 1976. In addition, he won nine times at the world championships and 11 times at the USSR championships.
Vladimir Petrov three times became the best scorer of the world championships (1973, 1977 and 1979). In 2006, he was introduced into the Hockey Glory Hall of the International Hockey Federation.
