The YouTube video service announced the launch of its own online TV for US residents. This was announced by the director of the company Susan Vojitsky, reports The Verge.
The service is called YouTube TV. With its help, you can connect both to the four main broadcasting networks of the country (ABC, CBS, FOX and NBC), and to cable. At the same time, the service does not access Comedy Central, MTV, CNN and Discovery Communications.
YouTube TV will be launched in a few months. Its cost will be $ 35 per month for six accounts. Users will also be offered a free subscription on YouTube Red.
This is the service that the company developed in 2015. For $ 9.99, he offers to watch videos without advertising, download files and listen to music from YouTube, curling up the application. Since 2016, users who have subscribed have gained exclusive access to some videos and films.
Earlier, YouTube has developed a mechanism that allows users to earn online broadcasts. For this, the Super Chat service was created. The viewer who looks a live broadcast can “buy” messages in the common chat, which will be allocated in a separate color and be over all comments for up to five hours.
