In Kuban, a self-taught lawyer was sentenced to six years for insults in court and resisting police officers

The Oktyabrsky District Court of Krasnodar sentenced 47-year-old lawyer Vladislav Nikitenko to six years in a general regime colony on charges of insults and slander in court and resisting arrest, reports Voice of Kuban.

He was also given a fine of 1.2 million rubles. Nikitenko was found guilty under Article 298.1 of the Criminal Code (slander against the administration of justice), Part 2 of Article 297 of the Criminal Code (contempt of court), 294 of the Criminal Code (obstruction of justice) and Part 2 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against a representative of the authorities, dangerous to life and health).

“Mediazona” wrote in detail about the fate of Nikitenko. Known for his passion for bicycle travel and “health fasting,” a resident of Blagoveshchensk for more than ten years provoked local authorities to initiate criminal proceedings against him, but each time he got away with it: he asked to deprive himself of Russian citizenship, to open cases against many judges in the region and the head of the region, wrote a confession under an article about separatism and published swastikas on his pages on social networks.

In 2012, Nikitenko came to Kuban, where he participated as a public defender in the cases of judge Dmitry Novikov, accused of fraud with land plots, and operatives arrested for beating a suspect in the sale of spice. During these processes, he became involved in a criminal case of slander against the prosecutor for the assumption made during the meeting about the state prosecutor's homosexual relationship with another participant in the meeting.

The man was detained when he arrived in the Kursk region to participate in the case of local deputy Olga Li - allegedly for violating his recognizance not to leave. According to investigators, during the arrest, Nikitenko folded his handcuffed hands into a lock and struck one of the policemen. Initially, this episode was classified under Part 1 of Article 318 of the Criminal Code (use of violence against a representative of the authorities, not dangerous to life or health), but later it was changed to the more serious second part.
